Little Engine Coworking Space Identity
Little Engine: Brand Identity Logo design · Illustration · Brand system · Pattern · Environmental application
Little Engine is a coworking space in Cebu City built around the idea of community, convergence, and creative momentum. The initial client brief was focused: a single eagle illustration to anchor the brand. As the project developed, plans to extend into merchandise and broader marketing channels made it clear the identity needed to be a system rather than a single mark — versatile enough to live across multiple touchpoints without losing coherence.
Scope of work: Logo design · Eagle illustration · Pattern design · Brand system · Environmental application

Concept
The Philippine Eagle was the client's chosen symbol — powerful, nationally resonant, and unmistakably local. The design response pushed further: embedding the suggestion of an engine within the eagle's head, quietly fusing the two halves of the brand's name into a single, unified form. The colour palette draws directly from the Philippine national flag, grounding the identity in a shared cultural vocabulary.

System
Beyond the primary mark, two supplementary elements were developed to extend the identity's range. A detailed Philippine Eagle illustration was created for large-format applications — billboards, tarpaulins, environmental graphics — where the mark needed to hold its own at scale. A bespoke pattern was designed by interlocking two Little Engine logos, its repeating geometry referencing the connective nature of the business itself: a place where independent people come together, intersect, and build something collectively.
