Visual Graphic Design Conference: Logo & Identity
Visual identity
Visual Graphic Design Conference 2018 (Visual 4) marked a milestone in the Philippine design calendar—an event focused on shaping the next generation of creative thinkers through dialogue, inspiration, and community. Showcased during Cebu's Graphic Design Week 2018, that year’s theme called for bold energy, youth relevance, and a visual system that could unify diverse voices under a single, striking identity.
The big idea: Inspired by Saturday morning cartoons block programming wherein the main show housed several other cartoons, forming one big giant TV event. Another layer is inspired from "combiner" genres (Captain Planet, Voltron, etc.) where characters were all powerful individually, but would combine to form something even more grand.

Moodboard

Bespoke lettering and typography for the logo, with the "V" and "A" forming a "V4" - circling back into the theme of "uniting".
